These are their formulas for force:

F = ma

Fg = GMm / r ²

Fr = −kx

These formulas are all wrong. These are the correct formulas:

DKE = ma

DGPE = GMm / r ²

DEPE = kx

There’s no such thing as force. What they call “force” is really the derivative of energy.

This is their formula for mechanical energy:

ME = ½ mv ² − GMm / r

This is my formula for weight:

W = GMm / r − ½ mv ²

Somebody here has a backwards formula.

They say the mechanical energy of a one kilogram body at rest on the surface of the Earth is −63 million joules. I say the weight of a one kilogram body at rest on the surface of the Earth is 63 million joules. They have negative energy. I wonder who has the backwards formula?
